About the CHE > Standing Committees  Introduction  Funding and Financing  Monitoring and Evaluation  Size and Shape  Introduction Standing committees are devoted to key HE policy areas and issues that require the ongoing attention of the CHE. The chair and members of standing committees are appointed by the CHE. Provision is made for the participation of non-CHE members with the approval of the Council. While standing committees are directed and supervised by CHE members, the CHE Secretariat handles their management and administration. Four standing committees have been established: Size and Shape, Funding and Financing, and Monitoring and Advice.
