Ms Louise Ismail joined the CHE in January 2000 as Office Manager. Her main responsibilities are to manage and control finances, donor funding and payroll system and the overall administration of the CHE office including procurement, human resources, etc. She currently focuses her work on the overall financial management activities of the CHE.
Before joining the CHE Ms Ismail worked in the banking sector as Assistant Accountant. She also worked in Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) in Cape Town.
Ms Ismail has eighteen years banking experience and has completed several courses in banking. She recently completed a certificate in Public Finance Management at the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA).
Ms Ismail loves the outdoor life and in her spare time she reads and walks. She enjoys cooking, listening to jazz at home, and also going out jazz clubs. She currently does volunteering work for a Tuberculosis NGO and is a keen community worker.
