What is quality literacy?
It is having access to information and the ability to deal with information on quality assurance practices and systems in order for one to be able to evaluate and use information to make judgements about the quality of education that an institution provides to its students. The information that one needs to be quality literate is:
- How do higher education institutions work;
- How are study programmes structured and organised;
- Understanding of what can be expected of a quality higher education institution.
